This semester our focus switches from Design Technology to Digital Technology across the school. At FRPS we follow a scope and sequence aligned to the WA Curriculum which enables us to focus on specific skills in different classes.
Students in the early years are learning preliminary skills such as logging on, different parts of the computer and devices, whilst our older students are looking at being cyber safe and emailing.
If you would like to support your child’s learning in the area of Digital Technology, get them to practise typing at home. There are lots of different free typing programs that your child could use. 5-10 minutes practice a few times a week, goes a long way to helping improve their typing skills!
